HOW IS COLD VAPORISED PURE WATER TECHNOLOGY UNIQUE?
Rainpure's Cold Vaporised technology is unique and has been developed in Australia. This technology can purify any water source, such as tap water, river water, and sea water, into safe drinking water. How pure is the drinking water? Its 100 times higher than the WHO standard.
What is Cold Vaporised Water?
The boiling point of water is 100C at standard atmospheric pressure (1 atm). At higher elevation as Himalayas, where the atmospheric pressure is relatively low (0.38 atm), the boiling point of water drops to 70C. It shows that the lower the pressure is; the lower the boiling point is. By applying this principle, we have adopted cold vaporization for water distillation. The water vapour collected will be condensed and transformed into pure distilled water.
Rainpure continuously provides high quality water. No need to deliver bottles and it is effective in reduction of CO2. It requires no changing of filters and no membranes, so there is no need to maintain on regular basis. Tap water, groundwater, rainwater, and seawater are available to use as source water. Rainpure dispenses hot and chilled water. You can adjust water temperature to cold (6-10 degree C) and hot (20-92 degree C). Completely closed loop water system to prevent foreign matter contamination.
The Process
- Untreated source water (Tap, Sea, Bore, River, etc) enters the Vacuum Chamber.
- This water is then heated to approximately 37C by the waste heat produced from the from the refrigeration system.
- The contaminated water starts to boil producing a pure water vapour which rises from the surface as a result of the Cold Vaporisation process.
- The pure water vapour then travels through a number of Baffle Plates, used to prevent splashing of contaminated water
- This vapour then condenses into a cold condensing coil to form pure water droplets.
- The purified water is stored in secure water tanks ready for consumption, purified water is constantly monitored for guaranteed quality with an alarm sounding should the machine be tampered with.
- The waste water is then pumped out to an outlet under the sink.
